Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2025

We built LazyBots to be useful without being nosy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean LazyBots. “Services” means our apps (AutoWriter, AutoTyper, AutoSolver) and the lazybots.tech website.

What we (mostly) don’t collect

What we may collect

AutoSolver specifics

AutoSolver can capture a region of your screen and run OCR to extract text. If a cloud model is used to draft an answer, the captured text may be sent to that model provider to generate the response. You choose when to capture and you review the draft before using it.

Cookies & website analytics

The website may use strictly-necessary cookies (e.g., session or security). We don’t run behavioral ads. If we add simple analytics, it will be privacy-respecting and aggregated.

How we use information

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Services (e.g., Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for delivery/security, Amazon S3 for downloads). They process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We may also share if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your choices & rights

Data retention

We keep purchase and support records for as long as required for legal/accounting purposes. Crash logs and diagnostics are retained for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.

Security

We use modern security practices (TLS in transit, hardened configs). No method is 100% secure, but we aim for pragmatic, continually-improving protection.

Children

The Services aren’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Please don’t use the Services if you’re under that age.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when the policy changes and adjust the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be highlighted in-app or on the site.
